After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Robert J. Galgan Jr. went to work for a real estate management company in Rosemont, Illinois. While continuing to work in the real estate industry, he started to attend law school at night and graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1978.
Following admission to the bar, Bob worked in various legal and management capacities for two real estate companies. In addition to being responsible for the basic legal and property management functions of these firms, he was involved in developing limited partnerships, revenue development, financing, and building construction. During this period, he also maintained a small private real estate law practice concentrating in representing the buyers and sellers of residential real estate.
In September 1992, Bob and Dean Galanopoulos teamed up to form the Law Firm of Galanopoulos and Galgan and established its initial office where it remains today – 340 W. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, Illinois.
Bob is a life long resident of the Chicagoland area and he and his wife have resided in Glen Ellyn since 1975.
